The Open Source Backup Conference is the perfect platform for developers, decision makers and administrators from the open source field to exchange information on the newest development on data backup with open source software, as well as gaining new know-how.

The conference program contains the following intensive workshops on the first conference day: BAREOS Introduction, Scripting BAREOS and Puppet for BAREOS. On the second day, there will be two parallel slots of talks by renowned speakers on different software- tools concerning open source backup. This year Didac Oliveira (Brain Updaters, SSL), Dr. Stefan Vollmar (Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research) and Martin Loschwitz (T-Systems) will be among the speakers. As every year, there will some information about the BAREOS Release 17.2. The complete program is available on the conference website.

A high-class evening-event awaits the attendees and guarantees the exchange of information, and time for networking in the open source community, which is the particular appeal of the conference.

For the past 9 years the Open Source Backup Conference has been an annual event and has developed into the conference on open source.
