This event is set up by a group of young highly motivated students and teachers at the technical school of Girona that do research in computer security. Overdrive con is focused on connecting professionals from different walks of the computer security field to share their experiences and enhance the fraternal spirit of the hacker community worldwide

The students of the university of Girona, by means of the associations PROMOTECH and UDGEEKS have a big interest and passion to explore the technology and move this passion to the community. By means of events how it hackday is pretend to approach the technology to the society (since students of secondary, undergraduates until professional or fans…).
Hackday invites to all the community to take part in workshops and projects related with the technology along 12 hours to the installations of the university of Girona (Montilivi).

Open Source Backup Conference ’17 – Confirmed-
The Open Source Backup Conference is the perfect platform for developers, decision makers and administrators from the open source field to exchange information on the newest development on data backup with open source software, as well as gaining new know-how.
The conference program contains the following intensive workshops on the first conference day: BAREOS Introduction, Scripting BAREOS and Puppet for BAREOS. On the second day, there will be two parallel slots of talks by renowned speakers on different software- tools concerning open source backup. This year Didac Oliveira (Brain Updaters, SSL), Dr. Stefan Vollmar (Max Planck Institute for Metabolism Research) and Martin Loschwitz (T-Systems) will be among the speakers. As every year, there will some information about the BAREOS Release 17.2. The complete program is available on the conference website.
A high-class evening-event awaits the attendees and guarantees the exchange of information, and time for networking in the open source community, which is the particular appeal of the conference.

Opensouthcode is an event to promote open technologies: free software/hardware and opensource in Málaga.
The idea of OpenSouthCode is based on Fosdem, a conference that has been taking place in Brussels since 2000 with international success. In this way, like Fosdem, OpenSouthCode is a “non-commercial” conference organized by volunteers.
The DRLM Project take part in the event with a conference and we will have a stand to present the project.
